At first, I thought that it was too harsh, but after giving it further thought, I put it into perspective like this:

What if Koscheck was severely injured from that unexpected punch that could have affected his career? Koscheck may have talked crap during the fight, but then do something about it right then and there. If you were upset about it do something. He couldn't, so he sucker punches him? It's like a boxing match that my brother was telling me about, similar incident and the guy who gets hit got his jaw broken in 3 places for it.

You're a fighter, handle your business when your opponent is facing you with his hands up.

He deserves it.

Dana absolutely made the right choice in releasing Paul Daley. This is a professional business he is trying to run and having people do whatever they want is unacceptable. Any manager, boss, president of any company had anyone acting in such a disrespectful behavior would be let go and there wouldn't be an issue.

As for baseball players charging the mound and what not...I didn't know that the training for UFC and baseball are the same and should be compared to each other. I also do believe that baseball, basketball, hockey etc players get suspended when they take an action too far. However, Daley deserves being released, he completely disrespected the sport he's trained for.

this is the sucker punch he must have been talking about...the dude who threw the sucker punch actually ended up bludgeoning max kellermans brother to death with a hammer a short time later.

Well in my opinion, I think it is the wrong choice for DANA to make...Dana is looking to sign Jake Shields and already has Nate Diaz in the UFC. Both of those people were involved with the Strikeforce Brawl, so since Dana cut Daley, he should also cut Diaz.

Can you imagine if he signed Shields and GSP came in after and said "I am not impressed with your performance" havoc would break loose. Haha.

Hi Danny , I am a recent MMA practioner. less then 6 months exp.......I am joining CombatAthleteMMA under Paul Fahey , another Serra BJJ black belt , hes a real great guy ....I hear great things about him ....hope to meet you soon at a seminar...

I saw that Daley/Koscheck match , the reason why I love Dana White , is because hes trying to convey class to the sports community in the USA , and hes a no nonsense guy ...non-politcally correct ....sometimes people have to learn the hard way , I totally agree the punishment it is warranted , God forbid he could have blinded him or detached a retina ! , and ended his career right on the spot!!!!....

its such a breath of fresh air to see Dana White surpass every other commisioner in American pro-sports by doing whats right , and not being corrupt and politcal like the NFL,MLB, or the NBA , good for him !

Peace
