So I got two tubs of whey protein powder that are a few years old. The giant tub says "Best by 6/07" and the smaller one says "Best by 2/08." They've been collecting dust in my cupboard for awhile. Do you think its still good to use?

it might still work, but like it says on the container it works BEST by whatever date it says.

I think Billy Ho may be able to chime in here....It is basically like powered milk...and that last forever...I'd take a min and email the manufacture being vague asking if you can use it beyond the expiration date if sealed and how much further out....

It seems like they are pretty old. While they may not harm you, they may not be as effective because the powder may not be as potent.

I would personally refrain from taking them , especially the 07 one. Whey protein is so affordable that I'd rather have the peace of mind with a non expired tub. I hope this helps.

I wouldn't bother. I had a friend who worked at a supplement distributor who gave me a ton of free stuff because it was close to expiring. I remember the protein power would just NOT mix very well and didnt seem right. It wasnt the brand because Ive had it fresh before, so id just buy it online for cheap.
