As you well know ju jitsu was originally developed by the Samurai in Japan, who needed effective means of eliminating the enemy when not on horseback.

In 2010, do you think BJJ can play a role in the fight between the Good and Evil. Of course, I assume many US soldiers fighting terrorism are versed in the basic of JJ. Assuming that terrorists are evil, what role can BJJ play in this struggle against evil elements?

Perhaps we should hold a BJJ tournament, where the terrorists duke it out against the rest of the world. This begs the question, do the bad guys over there receive training("boot camp") in JJ or BJJ fighting methods?

As a corollary:
(1) can BJJ contribute to world peace and harmony?
(2) no US president has been a martial artist (exception may be the pugilist Teddy Roosevelt). The one world leader with extensive martial artist may be V. Putin, a serious judoka. And Putin's policies are either machiavellist or realist, depending on your view.
