I want to thank everyone at the Huntington academy for last night. It has been 3 years since I was on the mat last. I was in a bad motorcycle accident. And I am very lucky to be alive. Being in bed for 2 months without being able to stand on your own to feet and six months before you can walk up a flight of stairs , puts a lot into perspective. Last night answered a lot of questions for me. My pelvis was badly fractured in two places and had a fracture at the base of my spine. I didn't know if I would ever be able to roll again. Just think about it for one minute, If you wasn't physically able to roll again, how would you feel? I had to think about this for almost a year. I trained on the first day the Huntington Academy opened. And last night was a homecoming for me. No matter how long you are away Sensei Matt Serra makes you feel at home. He is more than a great instructor and UFC Champion he is my friend. And I learned a long time ago, if you have one true friend you are a rich man. Thanks again Sensei! I met a lot of new people yesterday, and saw people that I remembered when they started. And of course seeing the familiar faces, Senseis Mike and Danny V. My evening was topped off when Sensei Nick Serra the mad monkey came in. I havn't seen or talked to him in over 4 years. I just have to say when you are part of the Serra Family it is forever. I have to give a special thanks to Danny , Anthony, and Meg for training with me last night. So keep training and enjoy every second of it. You could not be in a better place!

Glad to have you back Tony! Always a pleasure to have you here and glad you are able to train some more. We have a lot of great new guys training with us since you last were here. DVD Dan, Sean, Dan the Pool Guy, Big Rob, just to name a few. They are all great to roll with. Very technical and all around solid guys!
