Danny thank you for the kind words. It was truly a special day for me. I could not contain my emotions being everything I've been through. After the surgeries I didn't know if I would ever be able to roll again, or even walk without a limp for that matter. And there I was getting a promotion under Matt and Nick Serra. A year and a half of mental and physical torture came to an end. I will never forget that day as long as I live. I would also like to thank Joanne for taking pictures of me with my son. And mostly I would like to thank all my fellow jiu jitsu players at the Serra Academy. For without them this wouldn't be possible. From black belt to white belt, they have all played an important part to my recovery and success.
