We are in the process of adding a lot of content/videos to the site. Can you take a few minutes and make a post about what you would like to learn?

I know this is the "Healthy Eats" section but it could be anything related to nutrition, fitness, training, or Jiu-Jitsu.

Here are some questions to stimulate thought:

What is your most pressing nutrition and/or training question?

What are you having, have had, or think you will have the most trouble with (training wise)?

Which techniques would you love to see?

Ask away. As many as you'd like.

As a thank you, I'll provide you w/ a detailed answer (if I can).

I think training advice and/or general routines would be helpful, especially when it comes to balancing the wear and tear on your joints from weightlifting with the wear and tear from training Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, muay thai, or any other MA discipline.

Stay tuned Eric... I'm actually going to be posting very soon a video post regarding how to avoid knee injuries while training BJJ. Very overlooked topic but a VERY important one!

I like to train as much as i possibly can. I often do double classes. The problem is that all of the training is starting to take a toll on my knees, legs, and back. Any advice on helping me control the soreness, swelling, and future damage.

Would luv to read that, avoiding another knee injury would be great, had one so far, was awful, however, I made an excellent recovery through proper nutritional supplements and training, if anyone else has had a similar injury I'd share some info with you if you want.
As far as vidoe posts go, moves from the guard would be great, those are the most complicated, at least for me. Tips for training key muscles used for jiu-jitsu would be great too, as I know good grips with your hands and flexibilty are two examples of physical demands used in training. As far as nutrition goes, natural healthy foods for protein, and foods/supplements that provide anti-inflammatory effects come to mind.

Billy,
I’m a clean freak. I take a shower before class and one after class with anti-bacteria soap. (A bit anal… I know). But I’ve had to resort to doing the No-Gi class with a long sleeve rash guard instead of my cut of rash guard because I caught some itchy bumps on my shoulders, but summer is approaching and when I do class with the long sleeve rash guard (Gi and No-Gi) I over heat easily. What else can I do to prevent myself from getting infected with anything? And why am I over heating so much?

FYI - guys I took 3 weeks off to make sure I was safe before coming back and infecting anyone else. We should all exercise very good hygiene especially in the spring and summer.
