Congrats to Team Serra/Longo fight team members Chris "The All American" Weidman and Costas Philippou on their victories last night in Atlantic City. Chris and Costas both fought under the same card at Ring of Combat XXXIII.

Costas ended the fight early (really early) in about 11 seconds with a KO. Costas is a professional boxer who has plenty of boxing matches under his belt and is now looking to make a name for himself in the MMA world. He is a tough fighter and you will be seeing him more and more.

Defending his championship title, Chris Weidman won his match via a 3 round decision against a very tough Valdir Araugo. Chris recently won his title in devastating fashion and this was his first title defense. He is an All American wrestler and has taken the sport to its highest levels recently crossing over to the worlds most prestigious grappling event - The ADCC submission tournament . Now combining his skills of wrestling and grappling with kickboxing under the tutelage of Ray Longo, Chris is quickly a rising star in the MMA circuits.
